Can’t unsee me.

Unlike every other person these days, I haven’t tried the experiment called selfie.

But it really doesn’t matter because camera captures the things which a mortal eye can not notice sometimes. Or it might make things looks obvious.

So I was going through some of the pics captured by someone else. And I looked at my self again and again. I was happy and celebrating when it was clicked. But camera captured the emptiness in my eyes. And I was shocked to see my eyes, line between peace and void became clear. What was more amazing that no one noticed this yet. I’m hoping someone will.

It takes something really intense to be there. Hope some of it will go away when I will click next pic.

p.s. It’s just first week of new year but it feels like ages.

I have fears

but I know no devil.

I’m scared but

it’s not darkness.

I had never been told

tales of demons.

I’m seeking myself

in this divine chaos.

My human mind is

enough for my fear.

Eternity In A Moment

Thomas Locker Gateway to eternity

Life goes on, mediocre.

Bending, breaking, crazy

and exhausting the human

will.

Life goes on, challenging

and commonplace.

Moments all I have

to cherish….forever?

Who wants to live

forever?

My eternity lies in

the moments.

Life goes on, agonizing

evermore.

To have and To hold

tumblr_nxvctv96Ui1sgzn6ho1_500

To encounter and to feel it,

Is to face, to meet it.

Its better if lost it

because then you had it.

To hold and to detain

is not the way to have it.

Few things like shiny diamonds

can be hold forever.

Things like warm heart

can not be embosomed forever.

Incarcerate the feeling and

the mind have its days.

Wither away memories

not their ways.

Its stays like

an impression

and reflect like

impersonation.

Note to myself ….

Take some time for yourself. Listen some music or read something.

Don’t follow reviews or recommendations.

Just hit the button and see for yourself.

This has been the way for most of us to discover things lately until social media and internet start reading humans. And then you start clicking recommendations, following the follower, by seeing common follower.

Gone the days when people used to fill year book or slam book, mentioning their favorite book, artist or song. colors and movies, games and food. All that sound too stupid and insignificant in front of profile pic and followers.

One fine day,

thought about my favorite reality show presenter

another day recall fav period drama

another day revisited the book I loved.

one afternoon was thinking about an old friend

one evening watched fav artist

It’s not a coincidence.

That’s my conclusion when found the common link.

It’s the key to your sub conscience.

Password to your deepest thoughts which even you unaware of.

Note to myself – Don’t lie to yourself, you just can’t.

Fill your life book with all your favorite stuff and keep it safe from world.

Happiness is not HD…………….Diwali !

We are here again, festive season, warm lights and cool nights. Durga festival at its end and all are looking up to Diwali. For most of us this is about decorating our homes, buying new things, visiting temples and relatives and home-made delicacies. Crowd, all over.

Last week I have been to one such venues of Durga festival. It was amazing and crowded. All possible entries to temple were blocked for any vehicles, only pedestrians allowed. Everyone was rushing to the venue and then to the long shopping spree along the road. There were more than thousands of vendors on street.

All the vendors were selling various things, from food to decorative and toys to apparel. Some of them were teenagers and some senior citizens. Every year I see a lady about 60 years of age, sitting at same place with one small table and a chair. She sits at corner and sells snacks.

Some children were selling toys, some were selling fans and some were selling flutes. One man was writing names on rice grain and showing his skills. Others were selling beads and ribbons.

Those who were not selling anything, mostly of them buying few things. And many were just enjoying the crowd ! Yes, enjoying the rush !

Hence, I realized that there is an order in the chaos. An invisible order that is always presents during festival rush ! Season provides many business opportunities to all age groups. And also provides buying opportunities to all income groups.

diwali

That invisible order which keeps everything at its place is the real prosperity. The real goddess of energy and growth reside in that crowd. Diwali is shopping phenomenon culturally. Even if you are not buying anything, you must be buying diyas and lights. But for millions it’s auspicious reason to buy gold, diamonds and precious gifts.

But does that sum up spirit of Laxmi ? shopping malls and jewelry brands ? Here crowd teaches us true spirit of Diwali. Everyone is buying something from 1rs. to 1crore, streets are full. Real spirit lies with that small vendor who with hope of profit sits around corner, selling plastic flowers. And when some spirited buyer like those plastic flowers, Diwali gets started.

Prosperity lies with small but true things which gives you happiness to cherish and memories to pamper. Calculated EMI’s and extravaganza things takes away sheer bliss !! So next time when you going to buy that designer stuff, take a walk in crowd where happiness is spilling from pockets ! Remember happiness is not HD, it’s just happiness !!

Spring…….That past !

I was willing to write about this since a year and finally I collected some courage. Its nothing personal but something that inevitable. Something that each one of us will face someday. Something that faced by many of us. And something that many of us living with each day.

I have been taught not argue with elders and that’s been part of my culture. On a human level we connected to many people on daily basis and get disconnected easily. Most of us find that connection in social media these days. School, office, home, neighbors, travelers are other similar scenarios of real interaction.

Well, couple of such encounters I have been through with my good old neighbors. Both of them were pretty old fellows like grandpa who remind us that they have seen more seasons than us. One of them was like stubborn child who repeat same mistakes regularly. Our entire neighborhood was surrender to this old man who used to pick up flowers each morning from people’s home.

He used to do hour-long prayers. So one day I said to him please keep some flowers for us when he marched towards my Hibiscus tree. And he said ‘sure you been kind, people are rude with me’. Well, some people are less kind

Other fellow was no less than first one. Each morning when my newspaper came to my home this old man use to collect it from my gate and read it ! I didn’t get in argument with him ! Again don’t wish to start mornings on a bad note !

Both of them taught me one thing ! Being lively, being sensitive and being human beyond our fake lives of identities and formalities ! Now both of them died in last fifteen months and I have realized that thank God for my values !  Society and civilized worlds create barrier between people instead of making bridge between folks !

What’s the point in arguing for a flower or a newspaper ? A human being is connecting with you on regular basis and all you need is ability to understand that. Frankly, I miss those stubborn old people who approached me with confident that they will get their expectation fulfill ! It’s a great little thing if people expect from you and you can offer them faith !!
