Glass Slippers
Its midnight
not the night of celebration.
Take the stairs and
runaway
because those are the sounds of cruel.
Healing deception of poison ivy.
You’re the knight
and you’re the prince.
Die like a warrior
and live for the war.
Don’t look for glass slippers
as they are crushed
at the gates of realm.
